Love and Hate?

I'm not sure if it is just me, but I am physically incapable of amicably parting with past friends. My friendships must either develop into low maintenance but long lasting relationships, or they must explode in a flame of fire. I have several past "best" friends for whom I harbor some very un-lady-like feelings. But this is not a place to discuss my psychological issues...it's a place to discuss my wedding!

Thanks to the wonderful world of Facebook, I am now aware that one of my past "friends" is getting married on the exact same day as I am! What are the odds of that? What's more, according to her status updates, she seems to have her dress already in her possession, and has picked out her cake! WHAT? These two details are simply figments of my imagination at this point! I am feeling extremal behind....time is ticking!

On another note, my mom is in the process of moving and we are buried in boxes at this moment. We just got the Internet after about two weeks, hence my lack of posting. I promise to get back to what's really important in life (dresses and cake) as soon as I can!

Pre-Anniversary

Today, July 10, 2009, we are officialy one year away from our wedding day! When we got engaged in August 2008, I thought that the days would pass so slowly that I would die of anticipation. Now that almost a whole year has passed, I know that these next 12 months will pass in a blur. I need to get moving! There is so much to do!

On another happy note, I am extatic to announce that Matthew received a letter in the mail from the Canadian Consulate General in New York stating the following:

Matthew Gagne
